What is FALCPA?
FALCPA stands for the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act.
Here is an article I authored with Rhonda Kane of the FDA when FALCPA took effect https://www.glutenfreewatchdog.org/news/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/jadafalcpa.pdf
Hi Tricia Would it be possible for Gluten free watchdog to hire an Independent attorney to make the FDA force the Wheat Lobby to stop printing phony gluten free labeling on all it’s packaging that claim to be gluten free and to hold public involved hearings so everyone can see all the false advertising from the Wheat Lobbyists! Thank you Dan S.
Gluten Free Watchdog has a team that communicates with the FDA, including about issues around labeling. What would be best from our perspective is for all sources of gluten–wheat, barley, rye–to be declared on the food label (similar to what is done for allergens under FALCPA).
