Test Report Summary
Report Date: 03/26/2026
AWG Bakery Everyday Loaf: The sample tested between 75 and 112 parts per million of gluten using the sandwich R5 ELISA. Five extractions were tested over a two day period.
AWG Bakery Everything Bagels: The sample tested below the lower limit of quantification for the assay used of 5 parts per million of gluten.

Note: AWG Bakery was notified of the results via email. We have not yet heard back from them. We will provide an update when we do.
Update (4/2/26): The bakery reached out to us via email. They are taking numerous steps to investigate and address the issue.
Update (5/8/26): GFWD reached back out to the bakery. They sent the results of testing on samples received by a lab on April 23, 2026. The results were reported as < 5 ppm. The bread tested by Gluten Free Watchdog arrived at Bia Diagnostics on March 25, 2026 (sent directly to Bia from AWG Bakery). As a result, the bread tested by AWG may have been from a different batch. AWG advised that going forward they will be regularly testing their bread.
Update (5/16/26): AWG Bakery confirmed that the bread they tested was from a different batch. This testing was done after "some adjustments were made."
