A complaint has been filed by Gluten Free Watchdog with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). If you believe products from this manufacturer made you or a loved one sick, it is very important to file a complaint with an FDA consumer complaint coordinator in your state. Please see the contact information available at https://www.fda.gov/safety/report-problem-fda/consumer-complaint-coordinators. The manufacturer was also notified.

Thank you to the consumer who reached out to Gluten Free Watchdog after this flour and other products made by the same manufacturer  repeatedly tested gluten found using a Nima. Generally speaking, we do not test products based on a gluten found result using a lateral flow device, such as the Nima or EZ Gluten. Exceptions are made when there is a pattern of positive results. It is important to determine if the results are true positives (e.g., GF Harvest oats and Batter Than Good flour). It is equally important to determine if the results are false positives (e.g., Liquid IV and various cream cheese, yogurt, and soft cheese products).

Please reach out with any questions.
